How do you brew? If your go-to brewer is an automatic drip machine, or maybe a manual method such as French press, pour-over, AeroPress, Chemex and the like, Encore's 40 accurate and repeatable grind settings make it an excellent entry level choice. It will also grind fine enough for espresso, though it lacks the ability to make finer adjustments.
Its efficient DC motor runs cooler, which helps keep beans from heating up during extended grind times. Electric and geared speed reducers slow the burr to 450 RPM for smooth operation with less noise, heat and static buildup.
A side-mounted On/Off switch and convenient, front-mounted pulse button makes it easy to grind a little, or a lot, on demand. If you're looking for a quality grinder that will let you explore a variety of brew methods without breaking the bank, the Encore is a fine choice for home brewing.
All Baratza grinders ship separately. Please allow five to eight business days for arrival.
